Our Concrete Recolouring Process
1. Surface Assessment – We inspect the concrete for old sealer, moisture issues, peeling, fading, surface wear, cracks, contamination, and previous coatings. This helps us determine whether the surface is a good fit for recolouring.
2. Cleaning and Prep – The concrete is cleaned using the correct process for the surface. This may include pressure washing, degreasing, chemical cleaning, or removing loose or failing sealer where required.
3. Colour Application –Depending on the project, we apply the selected colour system. This may include concrete dye, stain, antiquing colour, or a tinted sealer system.
4. Blending and Detail Work – Decorative concrete often requires careful blending so the colour looks natural and not painted-on. For stamped concrete, we may use accent colours to bring back depth and contrast.
5. Sealer Application – Once the colour system is ready, we apply the appropriate concrete sealer to help protect the surface and improve the final appearance.
6. Final Review – We complete a final walkthrough, review care instructions, and explain what to expect as the sealer cures.
Concrete Recolouring Cost?
Pricing depends on slab condition, square footage, level of polish, and prep required. A site assessment allows us to evaluate the concrete and provide an accurate quote rather than estimates.
