Refunds & Cancellations Policy
Overview
IronRock Concrete Coatings provides professional concrete coating services, including epoxy, polyaspartic, metallic epoxy, and concrete polishing. Due to the custom nature of our work and the permanent application of materials, all services are subject to the terms outlined below.
By approving a quote, submitting a deposit, or allowing work to begin, you agree to this policy.
Deposits & Payments
- Deposits are non-refundable.
Deposits secure scheduling, labour, and materials specific to your project. - Once materials are ordered or surface preparation has begun, no refunds will be issued.
- Final payment is due upon substantial completion of the project, as outlined in your approved quote or invoice.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled start date may be eligible for a credit toward future services, at IronRock’s discretion.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled start date will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
- Same-day cancellations or job-site access issues (locked premises, utilities unavailable, unsafe conditions) may result in additional charges or rescheduling fees.
No Returns on Services
IronRock Concrete Coatings does not offer returns. Our services involve permanent surface preparation and coating application that cannot be undone once work has begun.
Warranty & Defect Resolution
Refunds are not the remedy for workmanship concerns.
If an issue arises that is directly related to our workmanship and falls within the scope of your warranty:
- We will inspect the issue
- Determine eligibility under warranty terms
- Repair or correct the affected area where applicable
Warranty coverage does not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear
- Moisture-related issues outside our control
- Structural concrete movement or cracking
- Damage caused by misuse, chemicals, impact, or third parties
- Pre-existing concrete conditions disclosed or reasonably visible
Warranty terms vary by system and are provided at the time of installation.
Colour, Finish & Aesthetic Variations
Concrete coatings are applied over natural concrete substrates. Variations in:
- Colour tone
- Texture
- Aggregate exposure
- Gloss level
are normal and do not constitute a defect. Sample boards and photos are representations only.
Refunds Will Not Be Issued For
- Change of mind after installation
- Dissatisfaction based on subjective appearance preferences
- Minor imperfections consistent with industry standards
- Delays caused by weather, moisture conditions, or site readiness
- Issues disclosed prior to work commencement
Chargebacks & Disputes
Clients agree to contact IronRock Concrete Coatings directly to resolve concerns before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes.
Unauthorized chargebacks may be disputed with supporting documentation, including signed approvals, photos, and work records.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and applies to all projects completed in the Okanagan region.
