Warehouse Floor Coating – Polyaspartic System

Commercial warehouse project completed in the Okanagan using a polyaspartic floor coating system for additional durability and chemical resistance

Project Overview

This commercial warehouse floor was coated with a polyaspartic system designed for durability, chemical resistance, and minimal downtime. The goal was to create a hard-wearing surface that could handle daily operations while remaining easy to maintain.

The existing concrete was mechanically prepared prior to coating to ensure proper adhesion and long-term performance.

Scope of Work

  • Diamond grinding to prepare the concrete surface

  • Surface repairs as required

  • Polyaspartic base and topcoat application

  • Final inspection and walkthrough

Same space. Two very different floors.

Why a Polyaspartic System Was Used

Polyaspartic coatings were selected for their fast cure times and durability. This allowed the warehouse to return to service quickly while providing a seamless, protective surface capable of handling heavy use and exposure to chemicals.

Results

  • Durable, sealed surface designed for high traffic

  • Reduced concrete dusting and wear

  • Easy-to-clean finish suitable for daily operations

  • Quick return to service after installation
